Haven't done a WIP in a long time... I know some people like them so I thought I would post one! Sat down and started this one just now.
The Doctor picking out a tie while the giant threatening alien eyeball is just waiting there. LOVE THAT WHOLE SCENE SO MUCH!

Agh! How do you get the shading so perfect? I either go way to dark, or it doesn't look like i shaded at all!

I don't know how to explain it. Start with the darkest areas first and don't be afraid to go really dark. It's easier to understand the tonal values from there?

The part with the alien eyeball was one of my favorites! When he walks through the image of the previous Doctors and tells them to run... AWESOME!!
I loved the part when he was looking for a tie too! I LOVE Matt Smith as the Doctor.

This piece is looking fantastic so far. Can't wait to see it finished.

The "Hello... I'm the Doctor. Basically... Run." Is the BEST delivered "I'm the Doctor" line in the whole show imo.

I was an huge Tennant fan that was really upset by Matt Smith at first. But I now consider him my EASY favorite!!

He is so natural in the role. And this version of the Doctor's personality is my favorite so far. Not that the previous ones aren't awesome as well. But it's the perfect product of what he has been through as them. He is the oldest after all. I think people forget that! And then to top it all off. Matt Smith is GENIUS at portraying it!! All the subtleties of his acting are wonderful.
Haha! Sorry for going on about that...

That's one of my favorite lines!!
I LOVE David Tennant's Dr Who as well but Matt Smith is my favorite. I love his genius portrayal of the Doctor.

I don't mind you going on about it.
